The disclosed integrated outlet check valve (16) and pressure relief valve (14) are used in a high pressure fuel pump (10) including a pumping chamber (42) and an outlet fitting (18) defining an outlet passage to a common rail (26). The pressure relief valve (14) comprises a movable pressure relief valve shuttle (112) including a pressure relief valve surface (114) configured to mate with a pressure relief valve seat (116) in a closed position. The pressure relief valve shuttle (112) moves from the closed position to an open position when pressure in the common rail (26) exerts a force greater than the bias of a pressure relief valve spring (118). The pressure relief valve shuttle (112) also includes an outlet check valve seat (110) configured to mate with an outlet check valve ball (106) in a closed position. The outlet valve ball (106) moves from the closed position to an open position when pressure in the outlet passage is less than pressure in the pumping chamber (42).

L'invention concerne un clapet de non-retour de sortie (16) et une soupape de surpression (14) intégrés utilisés dans une pompe à carburant haute pression (10) comprenant une chambre de pompage (42) et un raccord de sortie (18) définissant un passage de sortie vers un rail commun (26).
