Abstract

A system, a method, and a machine-readable medium for overclocking a computer system is provided. An example of a method for overclocking a computer system includes predicting a stable operating frequency for a central processing unit (CPU) in a target system based, at least in part, on a model generated from data collected for a test system. An operating frequency for the CPU is adjusted to the stable operating frequency. A benchmark test is run to confirm that the CPU is operating within limits.

L'invention concerne un système, un procédé et un support lisible par machine permettant de surcadencer un système informatique. Un exemple d'un procédé permettant de surcadencer un système informatique consiste à prédire une fréquence de fonctionnement stable pour une unité centrale de traitement (CPU) dans un système cible d’après au moins en partie un modèle généré à partir des données collectées pour un système de test. Une fréquence de fonctionnement pour la CPU est ajustée à la fréquence de fonctionnement stable. Un test de référence est exécuté pour confirmer que la CPU fonctionne dans les limites.
