Abstract

Herein a vehicle (2) comprising a powertrain (4) and a control system (12) is disclosed. The powertrain (4) comprises an internal combustion engine (6), a clutch (8), and a transmission (10). The control system (12) is configured to select a gear in the transmission, engage the clutch, and run the ICE (6) in a negative torque state or in a zero torque state. The control system is further configured to change a phase of a first and/or second camshaft (18, 20) to provide a first angle (a) of rotation of a crankshaft (16) in a transition between an exhaust stroke of the piston (22) and an intake stroke of the piston (22), during which first angle (a) of rotation both the intake valve (26) and the exhaust valve (28) are closed. Thus, a negative overlap between the exhaust and intake valves is provided during motoring.

L'invention concerne un véhicule (2) comprenant un groupe motopropulseur (4) et un système de commande (12). Le groupe motopropulseur (4) comprend un moteur à combustion interne (6), un embrayage (8) et une transmission (10). Le système de commande (12) est configuré pour sélectionner un engrenage dans la transmission, mettre en prise l'embrayage et faire fonctionner le moteur à combustion interne (6) dans un état de couple négatif ou un état de couple nul. Le système de commande est également configuré pour modifier une phase d'un premier et/ou d'un deuxième arbre à cames (18, 20) pour fournir un premier angle (a) de rotation d'un vilebrequin (16) dans une transition entre une course d'échappement du piston (22) et une course d'admission du piston (22), pendant laquelle un premier angle (a) de rotation à la fois de la soupape d'admission (26) et de la soupape d'échappement (28) est fermé. Un chevauchement négatif entre les soupapes d'échappement et d'admission est ainsi obtenu pendant la conduite.
