Abstract

A suspension assembly for suspending an exhaust after treatment unit to a frame of a commercial motor vehicle comprises a suspension rod and a load force limiter. The load force limiter comprises a first piston having a first piston rod and a first piston flange, a second piston having a second piston rod and a second piston flange and a housing surrounding the flanges of the first and the second pistons. A first packet of Belleville springs is arranged between the first piston flange and a first end wall of the housing and a second packet of Belleville springs is arranged between the second piston flange and a second end wall of the housing. A third and fourth packet of Belleville springs are arranged between the first piston flange and the second piston flange and a washer is arranged between the third packet and the fourth packet of Belleville springs.

L'invention concerne un ensemble de suspension destiné à suspendre une unité de post-traitement d'échappement à un châssis d'un véhicule utilitaire à moteur, comprenant une barre de suspension et un limiteur de force de charge. Le limiteur de force de charge comprend un premier piston ayant une première tige de piston et une première bride de piston, un deuxième piston ayant une deuxième tige de piston et une deuxième bride de piston et un boîtier qui entoure les brides des premier et deuxième pistons. Un premier paquet de ressorts Belleville est disposé entre la première bride de piston et une première paroi d'extrémité du boîtier et un deuxième paquet de ressorts Belleville est disposé entre la deuxième bride de piston et une deuxième paroi d'extrémité du boîtier. Un troisième et un quatrième paquet de ressorts Belleville sont disposés entre la première bride de piston et la deuxième bride de piston et une rondelle est disposée entre le troisième paquet et le quatrième paquet de ressorts Belleville.
