The present invention relates to a data transmission apparatus and method using a polarized antenna in a wireless AV system, and a data reception apparatus and method. The present specification provides a method for performing polarization alignment for a downlink on the basis of reciprocity, a method for performing polarization alignment for an uplink, and a method for performing polarization alignment independently for each DMG antenna when one data transmission apparatus or one data reception apparatus uses multiple DMG antennas. Optimal MIMO performance can be guaranteed by aligning polarization between multiple antennas of the data transmission apparatus and the data reception apparatus in the wireless AV system, the polarization alignment for a downlink or an uplink may be selectively performed on the basis of reciprocity, and polarization distortion can be reduced through the independent polarization alignment between each DMG antenna.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de transmission de données à l'aide d'une antenne polarisée dans un système audiovisuel sans fil, et un appareil et un procédé de réception de données. La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de réaliser un alignement de polarisation pour une liaison descendante sur la base d'une réciprocité, un procédé permettant de réaliser un alignement de polarisation pour une liaison montante, et un procédé permettant de réaliser un alignement de polarisation indépendamment pour chaque antenne DMG lorsqu'un appareil de transmission de données ou un appareil de réception de données utilise de multiples antennes DMG. Une performance MIMO optimale peut être garantie par l'alignement de la polarisation entre de multiples antennes de l'appareil de transmission de données et de l'appareil de réception de données dans le système audiovisuel sans fil, l'alignement de polarisation pour une liaison descendante ou une liaison montante peut être effectué de manière sélective sur la base de la réciprocité, et la distorsion de polarisation peut être réduite par l'alignement de polarisation indépendant entre chaque antenne DMG.

본 발명은 무선 AV 시스템에서 편극 안테나를 이용한 데이터 전송 장치 및 방법, 그리고 데이터 수신 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 명세서는 상호성(reciprocity)에 기반하여 하향링크에 대한 편극 정렬을 수행하는 방법과, 상향링크에 대한 편극 정렬을 수행하는 방법, 그리고 하나의 데이터 전송장치 또는 하나의 데이터 수신장치가 다수의 DMG 안테나를 사용하는 경우, 각 DMG 안테나별 독립적으로 편극 정렬을 수행하는 방법을 제공한다. 무선 AV 시스템에서 데이터 전송장치와 데이터 수신장치의 다중 안테나들 간에 편극을 정렬함으로써 최적의 MIMO 성능이 보장될 수 있고, 상호성에 기반하여 하향링크 또는 상향링크에 대한 편극 정렬을 선택적으로 수행할 수 있으며, 각 DMG 안테나간에 독립적인 편극 정렬을 통해 편극의 왜곡을 줄일 수 있다.
