Disclosed are a carbon substrate for a fuel cell gas diffusion layer, a gas diffusion layer comprising same, a gas diffusion layer employing same, a fuel cell electrode, a fuel cell membrane electrode assembly, and a fuel cell, the carbon substrate comprising a sheet-shaped substrate having an upper surface and a lower surface on the opposite side thereof, wherein the sheet-shaped substrate comprises carbon fibers which are unidirectionally extended and arranged and an organic polymer carbide between the carbon fibers, binding the carbon fibers to each other. The carbon substrate comprises carbon fibers, which are aligned in at least any one direction, having been selected from among a machine direction (MD) and a cross-machine direction (CMD), by controlling the alignment of carbon fibers, and thus the carbon substrate is thin but has excellent mechanical strength and, particularly, excellent flexural strength, thereby enabling effective prevention of the penetration of a gas diffusion layer into a metal separator channel, and has excellent gas flow characteristics.

L'invention concerne un substrat de carbone pour une couche de diffusion de gaz de pile à combustible, une couche de diffusion de gaz le comprenant, une couche de diffusion de gaz l'employant, une électrode de pile à combustible, un ensemble membrane-électrodes de pile à combustible, et une pile à combustible, le substrat de carbone comprenant un substrat en forme de feuille ayant une surface supérieure et une surface inférieure sur son côté opposé, le substrat en forme de feuille comprenant des fibres de carbone qui sont étendues et agencées unidirectionnellement et un carbure de polymère organique entre les fibres de carbone, liant les fibres de carbone entre elles. Le substrat de carbone comprend des fibres de carbone, lesquelles sont alignées dans au moins une direction, ayant été sélectionnée parmi une direction de machine (MD) et une direction de travers de machine (CMD), en contrôlant l'alignement de fibres de carbone, et ainsi le substrat de carbone est mince mais a une excellente résistance mécanique et, en particulier, une excellente résistance à la flexion, permettant ainsi une prévention efficace de la pénétration d'une couche de diffusion de gaz dans un canal de séparateur en métal, et a d'excellentes caractéristiques d'écoulement de gaz.

연료전지의 기체확산층용 탄소 기재로서, 상기 탄소 기재는 상부 표면 및 이의 반대측의 하부 표면을 갖는 판상 기재를 포함하며, 상기 판상 기재는 일 방향(unidirection)으로 연장하여 배열된 탄소 섬유들, 및 상기 탄소 섬유들 사이에서 상기 탄소 섬유들을 서로 결합(binding)하는 유기 고분자의 탄화물을 포함하는 기체확산층용 탄소 기재 및 이를 포함하는 기체확산층, 이를 채용한 기체확산층, 연료전지용 전극, 연료전지용 막전극 집합체, 및 연료전지가 개시된다. 상기 탄소 기재는 탄소섬유 배향을 제어하여 종방향(MD) 및 횡방향(CMD)에서 선택된 적어도 어느 하나의 방향으로 배향된 탄소 섬유들을 포함함으로써 두께 얇아도 기계적 강도, 특히 굽힘 강도가 우수하고, 이에 의하여 금속분리판 유로내로 기체확산층의 침투 현상을 효과적으로 방지할 수 있고, 가스 흐름 특성이 우수하다.
