Provided are: a liquid composition that can be used to form a membrane having excellent durability against hydrogen peroxide or peroxide radicals, and excellent hydrogen gas barrier properties; a solid polymer electrolyte membrane; a membrane electrode assembly; and a solid polymer fuel cell. This liquid composition contains a liquid medium, an acid-type sulfonate group-containing fluorocarbon polymer having a hydrogen gas permeability coefficient of 2.5 × 10-9 cm3·cm/(s·cm2·cmHg) or less under conditions where the temperature is 80°C and the relative humidity is 10%, and cerium atoms. This solid polymer electrolyte membrane 15 contains the acid-type sulfonate group-containing fluorocarbon polymer, and cerium atoms. This membrane electrode assembly 10 is provided with an anode 13 having a catalyst layer, a cathode 14 having a catalyst layer, and the solid polymer electrolyte membrane 15 disposed between the anode 13 and the cathode 14.

L'invention concerne une composition liquide qui peut être utilisée pour former une membrane ayant une excellente durabilité contre le peroxyde d'hydrogène ou les radicaux peroxyde, et d'excellentes propriétés de barrière au gaz hydrogène ; une membrane électrolytique polymère solide ; un ensemble membrane-électrode; et une pile à combustible polymère solide. Cette composition liquide contient un milieu liquide, un polymère de fluorocarbone contenant un groupe sulfonate de type acide ayant un coefficient de perméabilité au gaz hydrogène de 2,5 × 10-9 cm3·cm/(s·cm2·cmHg) ou moins dans des conditions où la température est de 80 °C et l'humidité relative est de 10 %, et des atomes de cérium.
