The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a culture medium that is for adherent culturing of pluripotent stem cells exhibiting high growth ability and that does not contain serum or albumin; and a highly versatile method for adherent culturing of pluripotent stem cells using the culture medium. According to the present invention, by adding, to a culture medium, a hydrophilic polymer that is conventionally known to inhibit adhesion of cells to the surface of a cell culture base material, so that the adhesion of pluripotent stem cell to the surface of the cell culture base material is enhanced, high growth ability is imparted in adherent culturing of pluripotent stem cells without adding serum or albumin thereto. In addition, by adding an antioxidant substance along with such a polymer to a culture medium, very high growth ability is imparted in adherent culturing of pluripotent stem cells.

L'invention a pour but de fournir un milieu de culture étant destiné à la culture adhérente de cellules souches pluripotentes présentant une capacité de croissance élevée et ne contenant pas de sérum ou d'albumine; et un procédé hautement polyvalent pour la culture adhérente de cellules souches pluripotentes à l'aide dudit milieu de culture. Selon la présente invention, en ajoutant, à un milieu de culture, un polymère hydrophile étant traditionnellement connu pour inhiber l'adhérence de cellules à la surface d'un matériau de base de culture cellulaire, de telle sorte que l'adhérence de la cellule souche pluripotente à la surface du matériau de base de culture cellulaire est améliorée, une capacité de croissance élevée est conférée à la culture adhérente de cellules souches pluripotentes sans ajout de sérum ou d'albumine dans cette dernière. De plus, en ajoutant une substance antioxydante conjointement avec un tel polymère à un milieu de culture, une capacité de croissance très élevée est conférée à la culture adhérente de cellules souches pluripotentes.

本発明は、培地中に血清やアルブミンを含有することなく、高い増殖性を示す多能性幹細胞の接着培養用の培地、および、かかる培地を用いた汎用性の高い多能性幹細胞の接着培養の方法を提供することを課題とする。従来、細胞培養基材表面に対する細胞の接着を抑制するとして知られていた親水性ポリマーを培地に添加することで、多能性幹細胞の細胞培養基材表面に対する接着性を高めることにより、多能性幹細胞の接着培養において血清やアルブミンを含有せずに、高い増殖性が付与されることとなる。また、かかるポリマーとともに抗酸化物質を培地に添加することで、多能性幹細胞の接着培養において、極めて高い増殖性が付与されることとなる。
