[1] This optical member has a plastic substrate and a hard coating layer, wherein the hard coating layer is made of a cured product of a curable composition that comprises an inorganic oxide and an ultraviolet absorber, while the content of the ultraviolet absorber in the cured product is 0.5-15 mass%. [2] This curable composition comprises an inorganic oxide and an ultraviolet absorber, wherein the content of the ultraviolet absorber is 0.5-15 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the total effective components of the curable composition. [3] This optical member production method comprises a step for forming a hard coating layer by coating a plastic substrate with the curable composition described in [2] and curing the coated composition.

[1] L'invention concerne un élément optique qui possède un substrat en plastique et une couche de revêtement dur. Ladite couche de revêtement dur consiste en un objet durci d'une composition durcissable comprenant un oxyde inorganique et un agent absorbant le rayonnement ultraviolet, la teneur en agent absorbant le rayonnement ultraviolet étant comprise entre 0,5 et 15% en masse dans l'objet durci . [2] L'invention concerne également la composition durcissable comprenant un oxyde inorganique et un agent absorbant le rayonnement ultraviolet, la teneur en agent absorbant le rayonnement ultraviolet étant comprise entre 0,5 et 15% en masse pour 100% en masse de la quantité totale de composant actif de composition durcissable. [3] Enfin, l'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'élément optique qui inclut une étape au cours de laquelle la composition durcissable décrite en [2] est appliquée en revêtement sur le substrat en plastique puis durcie, et la couche de revêtement dur est ainsi formée.
