This estimation apparatus is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring a measurement result from a measurement unit that measures, in a non-contact manner, an object subjected to an estimation of contact sensation; a determination unit for making a determination about the state of the object, or a measurement status of the object, on the basis of the measurement result from the measurement unit; a selection unit for selecting an estimation method to be used for estimating the contact sensation of the object, from a plurality of estimation methods, on the basis of a determination result from the determination unit; and an estimation unit for estimating the contact sensation of the object using the selected estimation method.

La présente invention concerne un appareil d'estimation comportant : une unité d'acquisition pour acquérir un résultat de mesure à partir d'une unité de mesure qui mesure, sans contact, un objet soumis à une estimation de la sensation de contact; une unité de détermination pour effectuer une détermination concernant l'état de l'objet, ou un état de mesure de l'objet, sur la base du résultat de mesure provenant de l'unité de mesure; une unité de sélection pour sélectionner un procédé d'estimation à utiliser pour estimer la sensation de contact de l'objet, à partir d'une pluralité de procédés d'estimation, sur la base d'un résultat de détermination provenant de l'unité de détermination; et une unité d'estimation pour estimer la sensation de contact de l'objet à l'aide du procédé d'estimation sélectionné.

推定装置は、接触感覚の推定対象となる物体を非接触で測定する測定部の測定結果を取得する取得部と、測定部の測定結果に基づいて物体の態様或いは物体の測定状況に関する判定を行う判定部と、該判定の結果に基づいて、複数の推定方式の中から、物体の接触感覚の推定に使用する推定方式を選択する選択部と、選択された推定方式を使って物体の接触感覚を推定する推定部と、を備える。
