A road monitoring system according to the present disclosure comprises: a cable (20) that includes a communication optical fiber laid on a road (10); a reception unit (331) that receives an optical signal from at least one communication optical fiber included in the cable (20); and a detection unit (332) that detects, on the basis of the optical signal, a pattern corresponding to a traveling state of a vehicle on the road (10), and detects, on the basis of the detected pattern, the traveling state of the vehicle on the road (10).

La présente invention concerne un système de surveillance de route comprenant : un câble (20) qui comprend une fibre optique de communication posée sur une route (10) ; une unité de réception (331) qui reçoit un signal optique provenant d'au moins une fibre optique de communication incluse dans le câble (20) ; et une unité de détection (332) qui détecte, sur la base du signal optique, un motif correspondant à un état de déplacement d'un véhicule sur la route (10) et détecte, sur la base du motif détecté, l'état de déplacement du véhicule sur la route (10).
