Abstract

Provided is an exhaust gas purging device or the like that is for lean burn engines, that has excellent NOx purging performance, and that can exhibit relatively high NOx purging performance even under the condition that an ammonia adsorption amount is relatively low. An exhaust gas purging device 100 for lean burn engines is characterized by being provided with a selective reduction catalyst SCR having at least a first catalyst region SCR1 which includes at least an oxygen occluding/releasing material and a transition metal element and a second catalyst region SCR2 which includes zeolite and a transition metal element supported on the zeolite, wherein a NH3 maximum adsorption amount of the first catalyst region SCR1 per unit volume is smaller than that of the second catalyst region SCR2 under the NH3 adsorption condition of 33% of a saturated adsorption amount, and the first catalyst region SCR1 is disposed on the upstream side of the second catalyst region SCR2 in an exhaust gas flow path of exhaust gas so that the exhaust gas comes into contact with the first catalyst region SCR1 and the second catalyst region SCR2 in this order.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de purge de gaz d'échappement ou similaire destiné à des moteurs à mélange pauvre, qui présente une excellente performance de purge des NOx et qui peut présenter une performance de purge des NOx relativement élevée, même dans des conditions où une quantité d'adsorption d'ammoniac est relativement faible. Un dispositif de purge de gaz d'échappement pour moteurs à mélange pauvre est caractérisé en ce qu'il est pourvu d'un catalyseur de réduction sélective SCR ayant au moins une première zone catalytique SCR1 qui comprend au moins un matériau d'occlusion/libération d'oxygène et un élément de métal de transition, et une seconde zone catalytique SCR2 qui comprend de la zéolite et un élément de métal de transition supporté sur la zéolite, une quantité d'adsorption maximale de NH3 de la première zone catalytique SCR1 par volume unitaire étant inférieure à celle de la seconde zone catalytique SCR2 dans des conditions d'adsorption du NH3 de 33 % d'une quantité d'adsorption saturée, et la première zone catalytique SCR1 est disposée sur le côté amont de la seconde zone catalytique SCR2 dans un trajet d'écoulement des gaz d'échappement de telle sorte que les gaz d'échappement entrent en contact avec la première zone catalytique SCR1 et la seconde zone catalytique SCR2 dans cet ordre.
