Abstract
(EN)
An electro-optic apparatus configured to adjust in transmittance in response to a control input comprises a first web substrate and a second web substrate. Each of the web substrates form a plurality of perimeter edges. A first edge is in connection with a first electrical terminal connecting in connection with a first electrode. A second edge opposing the first edge is in connection with a second electrical terminal in connection with a second electrode. A third edge and an opposing fourth edge comprise a barrier seal in a first configuration in connection with an exterior surface of each of the first web substrate and the second web substrate. The barrier seal encapsulates the electro-optic medium between an interior surface of each of the first web substrate and the second web substrate.

Appareil électro-optique configuré pour ajuster la transmittance en réponse à une entrée de commande, comprenant un premier substrat en bande et un second substrat en bande. Chacun des substrats en bande forme une pluralité de bords de périmètre. Un premier bord est en connexion avec une première borne électrique qui est connectée avec une première électrode. Un second bord opposé au premier bord est en connexion avec une seconde borne électrique qui est connectée avec une seconde électrode. Un troisième bord et un quatrième bord opposés comprennent un joint d'étanchéité dans une première configuration en connexion avec une surface extérieure de chacun des premier et second substrats de bande. Le joint d'étanchéité encapsule le milieu électro-optique entre une surface intérieure de chacun des premier et du second substrats de bande.
