Embodiments presented herein are generally directed to techniques that provide a medical device component with the ability to communicate in both the near-field and far-field via a single antenna arrangement. More specifically, a medical device component includes an electronics circuit, a coil driver, an antenna arrangement, and an isolation circuit. The isolation circuit operates to extract far-field signals received at the antenna arrangement and provide these signals to the electronics circuit. The electronics circuit is protected from near-field signals received at the antenna arrangement via the isolation circuit.

La présente invention concerne d’une manière générale, selon des modes de réalisation, des techniques qui fournissent à un composant de dispositif médical la capacité de communiquer à la fois en champ proche et en champ lointain par l’intermédiaire d’une configuration d’antenne unique. Plus spécifiquement, un composant de dispositif médical comprend un circuit électronique, un pilote de bobine, une configuration d’antenne, et un circuit d’isolement. Le circuit d’isolement fonctionne pour extraire les signaux en champ lointain reçus au niveau de la configuration d’antenne et fournit lesdits signaux au circuit électronique. Le circuit électronique est protégé des signaux en champ proche reçus au niveau de la configuration d’antenne par l’intermédiaire du circuit d’isolement.
