The yield of this display device is increased. The ESD resistance of the display device is increased. The display device has a substrate, a display part, a connection terminal, a first wiring and a second wiring. The first wiring is electrically connected to the connection terminal, and has a portion positioned between the connection terminal and the display part. The second wiring is electrically connected to the connection terminal, and has a portion which is positioned between the connection terminal and an end of the substrate and has a portion with a side thereof exposed at the end of the substrate. The display part has a transistor. The transistor has a semiconductor layer, a gate insulation layer and a gate electrode. Moreover, the semiconductor layer and the second wiring each contain a metal oxide.

La productivité du dispositif d’affichage selon l'invention est augmentée. La résistance aux décharges d’électricité statique du dispositif d’affichage est augmentée. Le dispositif d’affichage possède un substrat, une partie d’affichage, une borne de connexion, un premier câblage et un second câblage. Le premier câblage est électriquement connecté à la borne de connexion et a une portion positionnée entre la borne de connexion et la partie d’affichage. Le second câblage est électriquement connecté à la borne de connexion, et a une portion qui est positionnée entre la borne de connexion et une extrémité du substrat, et a une portion dont un côté est exposé au niveau de l’extrémité du substrat. La partie d’affichage a un transistor. Le transistor a une couche semi-conductrice, une couche d’isolation de grille et une électrode de grille. De plus, la couche semi-conductrice et le second câblage contiennent chacun un oxyde métallique.
