Abstract

Foamed products are produced using multi-component systems which are advantageously free of isocyanate. The components of the systems are combined, with the resulting mixture then undergoing curing and foaming to provide a foamed product, wherein the characteristics of the foamed product may be varied by selecting particular reactants to be present in the multi-component system. The systems employ at least one (meth)acrylate compound having two or more (meth)acrylate functional groups per molecule, at least one thiol compound having two or more thiol functional groups per molecule, at least one free radical initiator, at least one blowing agent, at least one surfactant, and optionally at least one promoter for the free radical initiator.

La présente invention concerne des produits alvéolaires produits au moyen de systèmes à composants multiples qui sont avantageusement exempts d'isocyanate. Les composants des systèmes sont combinés, le mélange obtenu étant ensuite soumis à un durcissement et un moussage pour produire un produit alvéolaire, les caractéristiques du produit alvéolaire pouvant être modifiées par la sélection de réactifs particuliers qui seront présents dans le système à composants multiples. Les systèmes utilisent au moins un composé (méth)acrylate ayant deux groupes fonctionnels (méth)acrylate ou plus par molécule, au moins un composé thiol ayant au moins deux groupes fonctionnels thiol par molécule, au moins un initiateur de radicaux libres, au moins un agent d'expansion, au moins un tensioactif, et éventuellement au moins un promoteur pour l'initiateur de radicaux libres.
