A tracking system for use with a head mounted display on a watercraft is disclosed. The tracking system comprises: optical tracking circuitry to determine first tracking information of the head mounted display using optical tracking means; non-optical circuitry to determine second tracking information of the head mounted display using non-optical tracking means; and correction circuitry to determine an updated tracking information of the head mounted display based on the first tracking information and the second tracking information. The selection of at least the optical tracking means or non-optical tracking means to use to determine the first tracking information and the second tracking information is based on a location of the head mounted display.

L'invention concerne un système de suivi destiné à être utilisé avec un visiocasque sur une embarcation. Le système de suivi comprend : un circuit de suivi optique destiné à déterminer des premières informations de suivi du visiocasque à l'aide de moyens de suivi optique ; des circuits non optiques destinés à déterminer des secondes informations de suivi du visiocasque à l'aide de moyens de suivi non optiques ; et des circuits de correction destinés à déterminer une information de suivi mise à jour du visiocasque sur la base des premières informations de suivi et des secondes informations de suivi. La sélection d'au moins le moyen de suivi optique ou le moyen de suivi non optique à utiliser pour déterminer les premières informations de suivi et les secondes informations de suivi est basée sur un emplacement du visiocasque.
