The invention relates to a refrigeration installation comprising a very low-temperature module (TB) having a first circuit carrying a first refrigerant, comprising a first compressor (3, 71), a first heat exchanger (5), a first expansion valve (7, 52), a first pump (11, 51) and a first evaporator (13, 54). The invention is characterized in that the first refrigerant is a fluid with a liquid/vapor phase change, and in that this installation comprises a reservoir (9, 70), the lower part of which communicates with said first expansion valve (52) and with said first pump (11, 51), and the upper part of which communicates with said first evaporator (13, 54) and said first compressor (3, 71).

Cette installation de réfrigération comprend un module très basse température (TB) comprenant un premier circuit véhiculant un premier fluide frigorigène, comportant un premier compresseur (3, 71), un premier échangeur thermique (5), un premier détendeur (7, 52), une première pompe (11, 51) et un premier évaporateur (13,54), caractérisée en ce que le premier fluide frigorigène est un fluide à changement de phase liquide/vapeur, et en ce que cette installation comprend un réservoir (9, 70) dont la partie inférieure communique avec ledit premier détendeur (52) et avec ladite première pompe (11, 51), et dont la partie supérieure communique avec ledit premier évaporateur (13, 54) et ledit premier compresseur (3, 71).
