According to an aspect, there is provided an inverter (100). The inverter (100) comprises a DC source (102); a power conversion unit(104); and an output filter unit (106) comprising at least one nonlinear inductor (108) configured for two operating areas, wherein the at least one nonlinear inductor (108) comprises a changing inductance value, the changing inductance value first configured for operation in a first operating area and configured to change to a different inductance value for operation in a second operating area before core saturation;and wherein the power conversion unit (104) is configured to receive a DC input from the DC source(102)and to provide an AC output filtered by the output filter unit(106).

Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne un onduleur (100). L'onduleur (100) comprend une source CC (102) ; une unité de conversion de courant (104) ; et une unité de filtre de sortie (106) comprenant au moins une bobine d'induction non linéaire (108) configurée pour deux zones de fonctionnement, la ou les bobines d'induction non linéaires (108) comprenant une valeur d'inductance variable, la valeur d'inductance variable étant d'abord configurée pour fonctionner dans une première zone de fonctionnement et configurée pour passer à une valeur d'inductance différente pour un fonctionnement dans une seconde zone de fonctionnement avant saturation de noyau ; et l'unité de conversion de courant (104) est configurée pour recevoir une entrée CC provenant de la source CC (102) et pour fournir une sortie CA filtrée par l'unité de filtre de sortie (106).
