Ein Verfahren zur Rückraumüberwachung eines Kraftfahrzeugs (10) ist beschrieben. Dabei wird ein Rückraum hinter dem Kraftfahrzeug (10) überwacht. Es wird wenigstens ein Kraftfahrzeugparameter eines sich dem Kraftfahrzeug (10) von hinten nähernden Kraftfahrzeugs (20) ermittelt. Zudem wird anhand des ermittelten Kraftfahrzeugparameters berechnet, ob eine Kollision mit dem sich von hinten nähernden Kraftfahrzeug (20) droht. Ferner ist ein Rückraumüberwachungssystem (12) beschrieben.

The invention relates to a method for rear monitoring of a motor vehicle (10). In this case, a rear area behind the motor vehicle (10) is monitored. At least one motor vehicle parameter of a motor vehicle (20) approaching from behind the motor vehicle (10) is determined. In addition, it is calculated based on the determined motor vehicle parameter whether the motor vehicle runs the risk of a collision with the motor vehicle (20) approaching from behind. The invention also relates to a rear monitoring system (12).

L’invention concerne un procédé de surveillance de la zone arrière d’un véhicule automobile (10). Selon ce procédé, une zone arrière située derrière le véhicule automobile (10) est surveillée. Au moins un paramètre d’un véhicule automobile (20) s’approchant du véhicule automobile (10) par derrière est déterminé. De plus, le paramètre de véhicule automobile déterminé est utilisé pour calculer s’il existe un risque de collision avec le véhicule automobile (20) approchant par l’arrière. L’invention concerne en outre un système de surveillance de la zone arrière (12).
