Schneidplatte (10) für ein Werkzeug (100) zur spanenden Bearbeitung eines Werkstücks. Die Schneidplatte (10) weist eine Spanfläche (52) mit einer Spanformgeometrie auf, welche insbesondere zur Bearbeitung von Titan und Titanlegierungen geeignet ist. Die Spanformgeometrie ist derart ausgelegt, dass der vom Werkstück abgehobene Span vergleichsweise stark um seine Längsachse umgeformt wird. Die Spanformgeometrie ist zumindest in einem hinteren Bereich (56) der Spanfläche (52), der seitlich durch einen ersten konkav gekrümmten Abschnitt (46) und einen zweiten konkav gekrümmten Ab-schnitt (48) der Nebenschneidkanten (30, 32) der Schneidplatte (10) begrenzt ist, angeordnet. Die Spanformgeometrie steht über eine Schneidenebene (50), in der die Hauptschneidkante (28) der Schneidplatte (10) und zwei geradlinige Abschnitte (42, 44) der beiden Nebenschneidkanten (30, 32) angeordnet sind.

The invention relates to a cutting plate (10) for a tool (100) for machining a workpiece. The cutting plate (10) has a cutting face (52) having a chip shape geometry, which is in particular suitable for processing titanium and titanium alloys. The chip shape geometry is designed such that the chip removed from the workpiece is comparatively strongly reshaped about the longitudinal axis of the chip. The chip shape geometry is arranged at least in a rear region (56) of the cutting face (52), which rear region is laterally delimited by a first concavely curved section (46) and a second concavely curved section (48) of the secondary cutting edges (30, 32) of the cutting plate (10). The chip shape geometry is located above a cutting plane (50), in which the main cutting edge (28) of the cutting plate (10) and two linear sections (42, 44) of the two secondary cutting edges (30, 32) are arranged.

L'invention concerne une plaquette de coupe (10) pour un outil (100) d’usinage par enlèvement de copeaux d’une pièce. La plaquette de coupe (10) présente une surface de coupe (52) ayant une géométrie de mise en forme de copeaux qui convient en particulier à l’usinage de titane et d’alliages de titane. La géométrie des copeaux est conçue de telle manière que le copeau soulevé de la pièce est relativement fortement déformé autour de son axe longitudinal. La géométrie des copeaux est disposée au moins dans une zone arrière (56) de la surface de coupe (52) délimitée latéralement par une première section concave (46) et une deuxième section concave (48) des arêtes de coupe secondaires (30, 32) de la plaquette de coupe (10). La géométrie des copeaux repose sur un plan de coupe (50) dans lequel sont disposés l’arête de coupe principale (28) de la plaquette de coupe (10) et deux sections rectilignes (42, 44) des deux arêtes de coupe secondaires (30, 32).
