A technique for mitigating or removing a plug of solid-state material such as wax or hydrate coalesced from hydrocarbon fluids in a subsea flowline pipe. In a normal flow mode, a flow of hot production fluid is directed from a subsea well into a production flowline pipe that extends toward a processing or storage location. Simultaneously, a contra-flow of service fluid such as monoethylene glycol (MEG) is transported along a service fluid pipe that extends along and adjacent to the production flowline pipe. The service fluid is injected into the well or into the flow of production fluid upstream of the flowline pipe. On determining plugging or a risk of plugging of the flowline pipe, a heating mode is activated in which at least some of the flow of the production fluid is diverted into the service fluid pipe. This heats the service fluid pipe which, in turn, heats the flowline pipe to disperse the solid-state material.

L'invention concerne une technique d'atténuation ou d'élimination d'un bouchon de matériau à l'état solide tel que la cire ou l'hydrate fusionné à partir de fluides hydrocarbonés dans un tuyau de conduite d'écoulement sous-marin. Dans un mode d'écoulement normal, un écoulement de fluide de production chaud est dirigé à partir d'un puits sous-marin dans un tuyau de conduite d'écoulement de production qui s'étend vers un emplacement de traitement ou de stockage. Simultanément, un contre-écoulement de fluide de service tel que le monoéthylène glycol (MEG) est transporté le long d'un tuyau de fluide de service qui s'étend le long du tuyau de conduite d'écoulement de production et est adjacent à celui-ci. Le fluide de service est injecté dans le puits ou dans l'écoulement de fluide de production en amont du tuyau de conduite d'écoulement. Lors de la détermination d'une obturation ou d'un risque d'obturation du tuyau de conduite d'écoulement, un mode de chauffage est activé, dans lequel au moins une partie de l'écoulement du fluide de production est déviée dans le tuyau de fluide de service. Cela chauffe le tuyau de fluide de service qui, à son tour, chauffe le tuyau de conduite d'écoulement pour disperser le matériau à l'état solide.
