CLAIMS

1. Constituent header (3) of a heat exchanger (1), the header (3) comprising at least one header plate (15) and a cover (14) that jointly delimit an internal space (11), and at least one partition (10) that subdivides the internal space (11) into two sections (11a, 11b), the header (3) having an internal face (12) bordering the internal space (11) and an external face (13) oriented towards the outside of the header (3), the internal face (12) comprising at least one housing (16) for receiving the partition (10), characterized in that the internal face (12) has at least one cavity

(18) and one protrusion (19), the protrusion (19) being interposed between the cavity (18) and the housing (16) for receiving the partition (10).

2. Header (3) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the protrusion

(19) is integral with the internal face (12) of the header (3).

3. Header (3) according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a depth (P) of the cavity (18) measured between the internal face (12) of the header (3) and a cavity bottom (20) is less than a thickness (E) of the header (3) measured between the internal face (12) and the external face (13) of the header (3).

4. Header (3) according to either one of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the cavity (18) opens out through the external face (13).

5. Header (3) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the protrusion (19) forms a means for holding the partition (10) in position on a partition plane (P2) that is orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of extension (At) of the header (3).

6. Header (3) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover (14) comprises at least one cover base (14a) bordered by two cover flanks (14b), at least one of the cover flanks (14b) being ended by a cover edge face (14c), and in that the cavity (18) is formed at least in a manner straddling the cover edge face (14c).

7. Header (3) according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the header plate (15) comprises at least one plate base (15a) bordered by two plate flanks (15b), at least one of the plate flanks (15b) being ended by a plate edge face (15c), and characterized in that the cavity (18) is formed at least in a manner straddling the plate edge face (15c).

8. Header (3) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the internal face (12) has at least one cavity (18) and protrusion (19) pairing.

9. Header (3) according to the preceding claim, comprising a plurality of cavity (18) and protrusion (19) pairings, these pairings being diametrically opposed with respect to a longitudinal direction of extension (Ai) of the header (3).

10. Header (3) according to Claim 8 or 9, comprising at least two cavity (18) and protrusion (19) pairings, these two pairings being formed symmetrically with respect to a centre of symmetry (22) of the partition (10).

11. Heat exchanger (1) comprising at least one header (3) according to any one of the preceding claims.

12. Method for assembling a header (3) according to any one of Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the assembly method successively comprises at least the following steps:

- a first step of providing the housing (16) in the internal face (12) of the header

(3),

- a second step of fitting the partition (10) inside the housing (16) provided for receiving it,

- a third step of providing the cavity (18) and the protrusion (19) on the inside of the internal face (12) of the header (3).
