Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer wässrigen Polymerdispersion durch radikalisch initiierte wässrige Emulsionspolymerisation, indem man in einem wässrigen Medium (a) 40 bis 75 Gew. -Teile mindestens einer vinylaromatischen Verbindung und (b) 24,9 bis 59,9 Gew. -Teile mindestens eines konjugierten aliphatischen Diens (c) 0,1 bis 10 Gew. -Teile mindestens eines Säuregruppen enthaltenden Monomers und (d) 0 bis 20 Gew. -Teile mindestens eines sonstigen monoethylenisch ungesättigten Monomers, wobei sich die Mengen der Monomeren (a) bis (d) auf 100 Gew. -Teile aufsummieren, nach einem Monomerzulaufverfahren in Gegenwart mindestens eines anorganischen Peroxids sowie mindestens eines organischen Peroxids polymerisiert mit der Maßgabe, dass - die kontinuierliche Dosierung des anorganischen Peroxids zeitgleich mit der kontinuierlichen Dosierung der vinylaromatischen Verbindung startet, - die Dosierung des organischen Peroxids zu einem Zeitpunkt gestartet wird, zu dem bereits mindestens 5 % und höchstens 20 % der vinylaromatischen Verbindung in einem kontinuierlichen Mengenstrom unter Polymerisationsbedingungen zudosiert sind und - gegebenenfalls eine Teilmenge des anorganischen Peroxids vorgelegt wird, sowie die nach dem Verfahren hergestellten wässrigen Polymerdispersionen und deren Verwendung als Bindemittel, Klebstoff, Schlichtemittel für Fasern, zur Herstellung von Überzügen oder zur Herstellung einer Papierstreichmasse.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing an aqueous polymer dispersion by means of radical-initiated aqueous emulsion polymerisation, by polymerising (a) 40 to 75 parts by weight of at least one vinyl aromatic compound and (b) 24.9 to 59.9 parts by weight of at least one conjugated aliphatic diene, (c) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of at least one monomer containing acid groups and (d) 0 to 20 parts by weight of at least one other monoethylenically unsaturated monomer, wherein the amounts of the monomers (a) to (d) add up to 100 parts by weight, in an aqueous medium according to a monomer feed process in the presence of at least one inorganic peroxide and at least one organic peroxide, with the proviso that: - the continuous metering of the inorganic peroxide starts at the same time as the continuous metering of the vinyl aromatic compound; - the metering of the organic peroxide is started at a time at which at least 5% and at most 20% of the vinyl aromatic compound have already been added in a continuous mass flow under polymerisation conditions; and - optionally a partial quantity of the inorganic peroxide is provided. The invention also relates to the aqueous polymer dispersions prepared according to the method and to the use thereof as a binder, adhesive, sizing agent for fibres, for producing coatings, or for producing a paper coating slip.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une dispersion de polymère aqueuse par polymérisation en émulsion aqueuse amorcée par voie radicalaire, selon lequel, on polymérise dans un milieu aqueux, selon un procédé d'apport de monomères, en présence d'au moins un peroxyde inorganique et d'au moins un peroxyde organique, (a) 40 à 75 parties en poids d'au moins un composé vinylaromatique et (b) 24,9 à 59,9 parties en poids d'au moins un diène aliphatique conjugué, (c) 0,1 à 10 parties en poids d'au moins un monomère contenant des groupes acides et (d) 0 à 20 parties en poids d'au moins un autre monomère, monoéthyléniquement insaturé, la somme des proportions des monomères (a) à (d) étant égale à 100 parties en poids, à condition que le dosage continu du peroxyde inorganique commence en même temps que le dosage continu du peroxyde organique, à un moment où le dosage d’au moins 5 % et d’au maximum 20 % du composé vinylaromatique a déjà été réalisé à un débit continu dans des conditions de polymérisation, et, le cas échéant, une quantité partielle du peroxyde organique soit présente. L’invention concerne également des dispersions polymères aqueuses préparées selon ce procédé ainsi que leur utilisation comme liant, adhésif, produit d’encollage pour fibres, pour la réalisation de revêtements ou pour la production d’une sauce de couchage.
