Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gasgenerator (100), insbesondere für ein Fahrzeugsicherheitssystem, mit einer Längsachse (La), einem äußeren Gehäuse (34), das als Druckgasbehälter (35) ausgebildet ist, welcher im Ruhezustand des Gasgenerators mit Druckgas befüllt ist, wobei das Gehäuse (34) an einem Gehäuseende (10) mit einem Verschlusselement (50) mittels einer Schweißverbindung (11) verschlossen ist, und sich das Verschlusselement (50) entlang der Längsachse (La) von der Schweißverbindung (11) in das Gehäuse (34) hinein erstreckt. Das Gehäuse (34) weist zumindest eine Sicke (4) für eine mechanische Entlastung der Schweißverbindung (11) auf, wobei ein Sickengrund (6) der Sicke (4) in einem Bereich einer axialen Längserstreckung (Le) des Verschlusselements (50) angebracht ist.

L'invention concerne un générateur de gaz (100), en particulier pour un système de sécurité de véhicule.
