Devices, methods and computer programs for spatial diversity via enhanced bit interleaving in wireless communications are disclosed. Repeated bits in a circular buffer are mapped to spatial layers (or antenna ports) cyclically compared to the previous copies of these bits. The mapping from a bit index to a layer index can be randomized so that a repeated bit can be mapped to a different layer than the original copy of this bit.

L'invention concerne des dispositifs, des procédés et des programmes informatiques de diversité spatiale par le biais d'un entrelacement de bits amélioré dans des communications sans fil. Des bits répétés dans un tampon circulaire sont mappés sur des couches spatiales (ou des ports d'antenne) comparées cycliquement aux copies précédentes de ces bits. Le mappage d'un indice de bit à un indice de couche peut être randomisé de sorte qu'un bit répété peut être mappé sur une couche différente de la copie d'origine de ce bit.
