Disclosed by the present invention are a heavy lanthanum flint glass, a preform thereof, an optical element and an optical instrument. The heavy lanthanum flint glass comprises the following according to weight%: SiO2: 12-30%; Ln2O3: 10-25%, the Ln2O3 being the total content of La2O3, Gd2O3, Y2O3 and Yb2O3; TiO2+Nb2O5+WO3+Bi2O3: 10-40%; B2O3: 0-10%; RO: 20-35%, the RO being one or more from among BaO, CaO, MgO and SrO; and ZrO2: 0.5-10%, wherein (SiO2+TiO2/(B2O3+Nb2O5) is 1-30. The glass has a refractive index (nd) of 1.86-1.92 and an Abbe number (vd) of 25-30, may meet the optical performance required for precision instruments, has excellent anti-crystallization performance, has a low refractive index temperature coefficient, and may effectively reduce thermal aberrations caused by temperature differences.

La présente invention concerne un verre flint à haute teneur en lanthane, une préforme correspondante, un élément optique et un instrument optique. Le verre flint à haute teneur en lanthane comprend les constituants suivants en % en poids : 12 à 30 % de SiO2 ; 10 à 25 % de Ln2O3, Ln2O3 étant la teneur totale en La2O3, en Gd2O3, en Y2O3 et en Yb2O3 ; 10 à 40 % de TiO2+Nb2O5+WO3+Bi2O3 ; 0 à 10 % de B2O3 ; 20 à 35 % de RO, RO étant un ou plusieurs parmi BaO, CaO, MgO et SrO ; et 0,5 à 10 % de ZrO2, où (SiO2+TiO2/(B2O3+Nb2O5) allant de 1 à 30. Le verre présente un indice de réfraction (nd) de 1,86 à 1,92 et un nombre d'Abbe (vd) de 25 à 30, peut satisfaire aux performances optiques exigées d’instruments de précision, a une excellente performance anti-cristallisation, a un faible coefficient de température d'indice de réfraction, et peut réduire efficacement des aberrations thermiques provoquées par des différences de température.
