A film layer structure for a display apparatus. The film layer structure comprises a protection region (301, 401, 503, 601, 701, 803, 901) for forming the film layer structure required by a display apparatus; a leftover material region (302, 402, 501, 602, 702, 801, 902) for protecting the protection region (301, 401, 503, 601, 701, 803, 901) when a film layer is formed; and a cutting region (303, 403, 502, 603, 703, 802, 903) located between the protection region (301, 401, 503, 601, 701, 803, 901) and the leftover material region (302, 402, 501, 602, 702, 801, 902) and used for cutting to form the protection region (301, 401, 503, 601, 701, 803, 901). The cutting region (303, 403, 502, 603, 703, 802, 903) comprises a target region (304, 404, 604, 704, 904). A first thickness of the target region (304, 404, 604, 704, 904) is less than a second thickness of the protection region (301, 401, 503, 601, 701, 803, 901).
