Abstract

The present disclosure relates to elastomeric composites and provides methods for producing elastomeric composites and more particularly to elastomeric open cell and/or closed cell foams. This may be achieved by dispersing insoluble particles, as foaming agent, into a reactive elastomer mixture. The insoluble particles have at least one of compressive yield point, decomposition temperature point, melting point and density lower than at least one of compressive yield point, decomposition temperature point, melting point and density of the elastomer. The insoluble particles remain in the composite, however they can be shrunk down or remained intact according to the application.

La présente invention concerne des composites élastomères et fournit des procédés de production de composites élastomères et plus particulièrement des mousses élastomères à alvéoles ouvertes et/ou à alvéoles fermées. Ceci peut être obtenu par dispersion de particules insolubles, en tant qu'agent moussant, dans un mélange élastomère réactif. Les particules insolubles ont au moins un point d'élasticité de compression, un point de température de décomposition, un point de fusion et une densité inférieurs à au moins un point d'élasticité de compression, un point de température de décomposition, un point de fusion et une densité de l'élastomère. Les particules insolubles restent dans le composite, cependant elles peuvent être rétractées ou restées intactes selon l'application.
