Abstract
(EN)
A virtual image display system includes: a light source for projecting an image; a first beamsplitter including a first free-form curved surface; and a second beamsplitter including a second free-form curved surface facing the first free-form surface of the first beamsplitter, in which the first free-form curved surface is separated from the second-free form curved surface of the second beamsplitter by free space, and in which the first beamsplitter and the second beamsplitter are arranged to redirect light emitted from the light source toward a user to form a virtual image.

Un système d'affichage d'image virtuelle comprend : une source de lumière pour projeter une image ; un premier diviseur de faisceau comprenant une première surface incurvée de forme libre ; et un second diviseur de faisceau comprenant une seconde surface incurvée de forme libre faisant face à la première surface de forme libre du premier diviseur de faisceau , la première surface incurvée de forme libre étant séparée de la surface incurvée de forme libre du second diviseur de faisceau par un espace libre, et le premier diviseur de faisceau et le second diviseur de faisceau étant agencés pour rediriger la lumière émise à partir de la source de lumière vers un utilisateur afin de former une image virtuelle.
