Abstract

A universal electrical box shield includes a sealing flange including a front surface and a back surface, a first pocket extending out from the front surface of the sealing flange, an adhesive layer including a first surface bonded to the sealing flange back surface and a second surface with a removably adhesive application, wherein the sealing flange and first pocket are dimensioned to go over a selected type of electrical box. The shield may include a double- beveled first pocket and/or a domed first pocket. The shield may be a rectangular cube shape. The shield may include second and third pockets disposed proximate the ends to provide clearance for electrical box mounting screws.

L'invention porte sur un blindage pour coffret électrique universel, qui comprend une bride d'étanchéité comprenant une surface avant et une surface arrière, une première poche s'étendant vers l'extérieur de la surface avant de la bride d'étanchéité, une couche adhésive comprenant une première surface collée à la surface arrière de la bride d'étanchéité et une seconde surface sur laquelle est appliqué un adhésif amovible, la bride d'étanchéité et la première poche étant dimensionnées pour aller sur un type sélectionné de coffret électrique. Le blindage peut comprendre une première poche à double biseau et/ou une première poche en forme de dôme. Le blindage peut présenter une forme cubique rectangulaire. Le blindage peut comprendre des deuxième et troisième poches disposées à proximité des extrémités pour ménager un dégagement pour des vis de montage de coffret électrique.
