Methods, sorbent cartridges and cleaning devices are disclosed for refurbishing sorbent materials. In one implementation among multiple implementations, a medical fluid delivery method includes: providing a sorbent cartridge including H+ZP within a casing for a treatment; and after the treatment, refurbishing the H+ZP while maintained within the casing via (i) regenerating the non-disinfected H+ZP by flowing an acid solution through the casing, (ii) rinsing the regenerated H+ZP while maintained within the casing, (iii) disinfecting the regenerated and rinsed H+ZP by flowing a disinfecting agent through the casing, and (iv) rinsing the regenerated and disinfected H+ZP while maintained within the casing. Multiple batch sorbent refubishing implementations are also disclosed.

La présente invention concerne des procédés, des cartouches d’agent sorbant et des dispositifs de nettoyage pour la remise à neuf de matériaux agents sorbants. Dans un mode de réalisation parmi de multiples modes de réalisation, un procédé d’administration de liquide médical comprend : la fourniture d’une cartouche d’agent sorbant comprenant H+ZP à l’intérieur d’un boîtier pour un traitement ; et après le traitement, la remise à neuf du H+ZP tout en étant maintenu à l’intérieur du boîtier via (i) la régénération du H+ZP non désinfecté par écoulement d’une solution acide à travers le boîtier, (ii) le rinçage du H+ZP régénéré tout en étant maintenu à l’intérieur du boîtier, (iii) la désinfection du H+ZP régénéré et rincé par écoulement d’un agent désinfectant à travers le boîtier, et (iv) le rinçage du H+ZP régénéré et rincé tout en étant maintenu à l’intérieur du boîtier. L’invention concerne également de multiples mises en œuvre de remise à neuf d’agent sorbant par lots.
