Techniques for reconfigurable fabric configuration using spatial and temporal routing are disclosed. A plurality of clusters within a reconfigurable fabric is allocated, where the plurality of clusters is configured to execute one or more functions. A first spatial routing and a first temporal routing through the reconfigurable fabric are calculated. A second spatial routing and a second temporal routing through the reconfigurable fabric are calculated. The first and second spatial routings and the first and second temporal routings are optimized. The one or more functions are executed using routings that were optimized. The first spatial routing and the second spatial routing enable a logical connection for data transfer between at least two clusters of the plurality of clusters. The optimizing places routing instructions in clusters along a routing path within the reconfigurable fabric. The routing instructions are placed in unused cluster control instruction locations to enable spatial routing.

L'invention concerne des techniques de configuration de matrice reconfigurable à l'aide d'un routage spatial et temporel. Une pluralité de groupes dans une matrice reconfigurable sont attribués, la pluralité de groupes étant configurée pour exécuter une ou plusieurs fonctions. Un premier routage spatial et un premier routage temporel à travers la matrice reconfigurable sont calculés. Un second routage spatial et un second routage temporel à travers la matrice reconfigurable sont calculés. Les premier et second routages spatiaux et les premier et second routages temporels sont optimisés. La ou les fonctions sont exécutées à l'aide de routages qui ont été optimisés. Le premier routage spatial et le second routage spatial permettent une connexion logique pour un transfert de données entre au moins deux groupes de la pluralité de groupes. L'optimisation place des instructions de routage dans des groupes le long d'un trajet de routage dans la matrice reconfigurable. Les instructions de routage sont placées dans des emplacements d'instructions de commande de grappe non utilisés afin de permettre un routage spatial.
