Methods and systems used in calibrating the position and/or orientation of a wearable device configured to be worn on a wrist or forearm of a user, the method comprises sensing a plurality of neuromuscular signals from the user using a plurality of sensors arranged on the wearable device, and providing the plurality of neuromuscular signals and/or signals derived from the plurality of neuromuscular signals as inputs to one or more trained autocalibration models, determining based, at least in part, on the output of the one or more trained autocalibration models, a current position and/or orientation of the wearable device on the user, and generating a control signal based, at least in part, on the current position and/or orientation of the wearable device on the user and the plurality of neuromuscular signals.

La présente invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes utilisés pour étalonner la position et/ou l'orientation d'un dispositif vestimentaire conçu pour être porté sur un poignet ou un avant-bras d'un utilisateur, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à détecter une pluralité de signaux neuromusculaires provenant de l'utilisateur à l'aide d'une pluralité de capteurs disposés sur le dispositif vestimentaire, et fournir la pluralité de signaux neuromusculaires et/ou de signaux dérivés de la pluralité de signaux neuromusculaires en tant qu'entrées à un ou plusieurs modèles d'auto-étalonnage entraînés, déterminer, sur la base, au moins en partie, de la sortie du ou des modèles d'auto-étalonnage entraînés, une position et/ou une orientation actuelles du dispositif vestimentaire sur l'utilisateur, et générer un signal de commande sur la base, au moins en partie, de la position et/ou de l'orientation actuelles du dispositif vestimentaire sur l'utilisateur et de la pluralité de signaux neuromusculaires.
