Abstract

A fluid-cooled magnetic element. Coils are formed with small gaps between the turns of the coils. Coolant flow through the gaps, cooling the coils. Multiple coil paths provide for the core cooling as well as a separate path that cools the windings. One coiling path is formed by an annular gap between the inner diameter of each coil and the core, while a second cooling path is between radial gaps between each coil.

L'invention concerne un élément magnétique refroidi par fluide. Des bobines sont formées avec de petits espaces entre les spires des bobines. Le fluide de refroidissement s'écoule à travers les espaces, refroidissant les bobines. De multiples trajets de bobine assurent le refroidissement du noyau ainsi qu'un trajet séparé qui refroidit les enroulements. Un trajet d'enroulement est formé par un espace annulaire entre le diamètre interne de chaque bobine et le noyau, tandis qu'un second trajet de refroidissement se trouve entre des espaces radiaux entre chaque bobine.
