A system and method for high-speed transfer of small data sets, that provides near-instantaneous bit- level lossless compression, that is ideal for communications environments that cannot tolerate even small amounts of data corruption, have very low latency tolerance, where data has a low entropy rate, and where every bit costs the user bandwidth, power, or time so that deflation is worthwhile. Where some loss of data can be tolerated, the system and method can be configured for use as lossy compression.

La présente invention porte sur un système et un procédé de transfert à grande vitesse de petits ensembles de données, assurant une compression sans perte au niveau binaire quasi-instantanée, idéale pour des environnements de communication qui ne peuvent même pas tolérer des petits degrés de corruption de données, qui présentent une très faible tolérance de latence, où les données présentent un faible taux d'entropie, et où chaque bit coûte à l'utilisateur de la largeur de bande d'utilisateur, de la puissance ou du temps, de sorte que la déflation soit utile. Lorsqu'une perte de données peut être tolérée, le système et le procédé peuvent être configurés pour une utilisation telle que la compression avec perte.
