A piston rod (27) for a spray fluid pump includes an interior pumping chamber (40), one or more channels (50) formed on the exterior of the piston rod, and one or more side bores (32) extending through the piston rod and in fluid communication with the interior piston chamber and one or more channels. The one or more channels (50) extend at least partially axially and are open along a length of the channel. The one or more channels are angled offset with respect to the reciprocation axis for imparting a rotational moment on the piston rod to cause rotation of the piston rod during reciprocation of the piston rod. A spray fluid pump comprising such piston rod is also disclosed.

L'invention concerne une tige de piston (27) destinée à une pompe à fluide de pulvérisation et comprenant une chambre de pompage intérieure (40), un ou plusieurs canaux (50) formés sur l'extérieur de la tige de piston, et un ou plusieurs alésages latéraux (32) s'étendant à travers la tige de piston et en communication fluidique avec la chambre de piston intérieure et un ou plusieurs canaux. Le ou les canaux (50) s'étendent au moins partiellement axialement et sont ouverts le long d'une longueur du canal. Le ou les canaux sont décalés angulairement par rapport à l'axe de mouvement de va-et-vient pour transmettre un moment de rotation sur la tige de piston pour provoquer la rotation de la tige de piston pendant le mouvement de va-et-vient de la tige de piston. L'invention concerne également une pompe à fluide de pulvérisation comprenant une telle tige de piston.
