A method for producing a haloamine solution with reduced amounts of halogen oxyanions including (a) the on-site generation of a halogen-containing oxidant, such as a solution and (b) reacting on-site the halogen-containing oxidant with a nitrogen source, to thereby produce the haloamine solution.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une solution d'haloamine avec des quantités réduites d'oxyanions d'halogène comprenant (a) la génération sur site d'un oxydant contenant de l'halogène, tel qu'une solution et (b) la réaction sur site de l'oxydant contenant de l'halogène avec une source d'azote, pour ainsi produire la solution d'haloamine.
