The disclosed embodiments relate to a capacitive micromachined transducers for ultrasound imaging having pressure calibrator to compensate for ultrasound image distortions caused by environmental pressure changes. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to a method to calibrate a first ultrasound transducer of an array of ultrasound transducers for ambient pressure variation. The method includes the steps of detecting a real-time ambient pressure value; determining a pressure difference value between the detected ambient pressure value and a predetermined pressure value; and calibrating the first ultrasound transducers to compensate for the determined pressure difference.

Les modes de réalisation de la présente invention concernent des transducteurs micro-usinés capacitifs pour une imagerie échographique comportant un étalonneur de pression pour compenser des distorsions d’image échographique causées par des changements de pression environnementale. Dans un mode de réalisation, l’invention concerne un procédé d’étalonnage d’un premier transducteur à ultrasons d’un réseau de transducteurs à ultrasons pour une variation de pression ambiante. Le procédé comprend les étapes de détection d’une valeur de pression ambiante en temps réel ; détermination d’une valeur de différence de pression entre la valeur de pression ambiante détectée et une valeur de pression prédéterminée ; et étalonnage des premiers transducteurs à ultrasons pour compenser la différence de pression déterminée.
