A method of creating a soft and lofty continuous fiber nonwoven web is provided. The method includes providing a first molten polymer and a second, different molten polymer to a spinneret defining a plurality of orifices and flowing a fluid intermediate the spinneret and a moving porous member. The method includes using the fluid to draw the first and second molten polymer components, in a direction toward the moving porous member, through at least some of the plurality of orifices to form a plurality of individual continuous fiber strands. The method includes depositing the continuous fiber strands onto the moving porous member at a first location to produce an intermediate continuous fiber nonwoven web, and intermittently varying a vacuum force applied to the moving porous member and to the intermediate web downstream of the first location and without the addition of more continuous fibers and without any heat applied.

L'invention concerne un procédé de création d'une bande non tissé à fibres continues présentant souplesse et gonflant. Le procédé comprend la fourniture d'un premier polymère fondu et d'un second polymère fondu différent à une filière définissant une pluralité d'orifices et faisant s'écouler un fluide entre la filière et un élément poreux mobile. Le procédé comprend l'utilisation du fluide pour tirer ou pousser les deux composants polymères fondus, en direction de l'élément poreux mobile, à travers au moins certains orifices de la pluralité d'orifices pour former une pluralité de brins de fibres continues individuels. Le procédé comprend le dépôt des brins de fibres continues sur l'élément poreux mobile à un premier emplacement pour produire une bande de non-tissé à fibres continues intermédiaire, et à faire varier par intermittence une force de vide appliquée à l'élément poreux mobile et à la bande intermédiaire en aval du premier emplacement et sans ajout de davantage de fibres continues et sans aucune chaleur appliquée.
