A radiotherapy delivery device is provided. The device includes a source of therapeutic radiation and a first detector positioned to receive radiation from the source of therapeutic radiation. The device also includes a source of imaging radiation and a second detector positioned to receive radiation from the source of imaging radiation. A collimator assembly is positioned relative to the second source of radiation to selectively control a shape of a radiation beam emitted by the second radiation source to selectively expose part or the whole of the second radiation detector. A reconstruction processor can be operatively coupled to the detector and configured to generate patient images based on radiation received by the second detector from the second source of radiation. The device is configured to move from one imaging geometry to another using all or part of the second detector.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'administration de radiothérapie. Le dispositif comprend une source de rayonnement thérapeutique et un premier détecteur positionné pour recevoir un rayonnement provenant de la source de rayonnement thérapeutique. Le dispositif comprend également une source de rayonnement d'imagerie et un second détecteur positionné pour recevoir un rayonnement provenant de la source de rayonnement d'imagerie. Un ensemble collimateur est positionné par rapport à la seconde source de rayonnement pour ajuster sélectivement une forme de faisceau de rayonnement émis par la seconde source de rayonnement afin d'exposer sélectivement une partie ou l'ensemble du second détecteur de rayonnement. Un processeur de reconstruction peut être couplé de manière fonctionnelle au détecteur et configuré pour produire des images de patient sur la base d'un rayonnement reçu par le second détecteur, provenant de la seconde source de rayonnement. Le dispositif est configuré pour passer d'une géométrie d'imagerie à une autre à l'aide de l'ensemble ou d'une partie du second détecteur.
