Abstract

An aspect of the disclosure provides a user equipment (UE) that includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry of the UE determines whether to transmit service data associated with a service to a receiving device through a primary link or a sidelink. When the service data is determined to be transmitted through the sidelink, the processing circuitry selects a radio access technology (RAT) for implementing the sidelink from a plurality of available RATs according to a set of configuration parameters received from a network, determines communication parameters for the selected RAT based on quality of service (QoS) or service requirement related parameters included in the set of configuration parameters, and transmits the service data through the sidelink implemented by the selected RAT according to the communication parameters. When the service data is determined to be transmitted through the primary link, the processing circuitry transmits the service data through the primary link.

Un aspect de l'invention concerne un équipement utilisateur (UE) comprenant un montage de circuits de traitement. Le montage de circuits de traitement de l'UE détermine s'il faut transmettre des données de service associées à un service, à un dispositif de réception, via une liaison primaire ou une liaison latérale. Lorsqu’il est déterminé que les données de service doivent être transmises via la liaison latérale, le montage de circuits de traitement sélectionne une technologie d'accès radio (RAT) pour mettre en œuvre la liaison latérale parmi une pluralité de RAT disponibles d’après un ensemble de paramètres de configuration reçu d'un réseau, détermine des paramètres de communication pour la RAT sélectionnée sur la base de paramètres relatifs à une qualité de service (QoS) ou une exigence de service compris dans l'ensemble de paramètres de configuration, et transmet les données de service via la liaison latérale mise en œuvre par la RAT sélectionnée d’après les paramètres de communication. Lorsqu’il est déterminé que les données de service doivent être transmises via la liaison primaire, le montage de circuits de traitement transmet les données de service via la liaison primaire.
