Abstract

Cement slurries, cured cements, and methods of making cured cement and methods of using cement slurries are provided. The cement slurries have, among other attributes, an extended thickening time, leading to improved retardation, flowability, and pumpability and may be used, for instance, in the oil and gas drilling industry. The cement slurry comprises water, a cement precursor material, acrylic acid copolymer, zinc oxide, and a phosphonic acid-based thickener.

L'invention concerne des laitiers de ciment, des ciments durcis et des procédés de préparation de ciment durci et des procédés d'utilisation de laitiers de ciment. Entre autres attributs, les laitiers de ciment ont un temps de pompabilité allongé, entrainant un retard amélioré, une aptitude à l'écoulement et une aptitude au pompage améliorées et peuvent être utilisées, par exemple, dans l'industrie du forage pétrolier et gazier. Le laitier de ciment comprend de l'eau, un matériau précurseur de ciment, un copolymère d'acide acrylique, de l'oxyde de zinc et un épaississant à base d'acide phosphonique.
