Disclosed is a finger cuff connectable to a patient's finger to be used in measuring the patient's blood pressure information by a blood pressure measurement system utilizing the volume clamp method. The finger cuff may comprise: a finger cavity to receive the patient's finger; an optical source and an optical sensor pair; an inflatable bladder; and control circuitry configured to: control pressure applied by the inflatable bladder to replicate the patient's blood pressure based upon measuring the plethysmogram signal from the optical source and sensor pair to implement the volume clamp method; and release the pressure from the inflatable bladder to allow blood flow through the patient's vein, and while the pressure is released, continue measuring the plethysmogram signal, and analyze the plethysmogram signal based upon a blood pressure estimate value technique to estimate blood pressure information.

L'invention concerne un manchon de doigt pouvant être relié au doigt d’un patient, destiné à être utilisé pour mesurer des informations de pression artérielle du patient par un système de mesure de pression artérielle utilisant la méthode de serrage de volume.
