Abstract
(EN)
A near eye display (NED) includes an electronic display configured to output image light. Further, the NED includes an eye tracking module and multiple optical elements that are combined to form an optical system to allow for changes in position of one or both eyes of a user of the NED. Various types of such optical elements, which may have optical states that are switchable, may be used to steer a light beam toward the user's eye. A direction of the steering may be based on eye tracking information measured by the eye tracking module.

La présente invention concerne un affichage proche de l’œil (NED de l'anglais "near eye display") comprenant un affichage électronique conçu pour émettre une lumière d'image. En outre, le NED comprend un module d'oculométrie et de multiples éléments optiques qui sont combinés pour former un système optique pour permettre des changements de position d'un ou des deux yeux d'un utilisateur du NED. Divers types de tels éléments optiques, qui peuvent avoir des états optiques qui peuvent être commutés, peuvent être utilisés pour diriger un faisceau lumineux vers l’œil de l'utilisateur. Une direction de la direction du faisceau lumineux peut être basée sur des informations d'oculométrie mesurées par le module d'oculométrie.
