Abstract

An anti -friction bearing includes a pair of rotatable tracks, a pair of extension members removably securely mounted to one of the pair of tracks, spaced load-carrying roiling members rotatably engageable between the two tracks, and individual spacers disposed to roll on the surfaces of the pair of extensions members. Each of the individual spacers is engageable with and cooperatively separates an adjacent pair of the rolling elements. All of the components of the bearing are disposed in corresponding pure rolling contact, i.e., without sliding, relative one another.

L'invention concerne un palier antifriction comprenant une paire de chemins de roulement rotatifs, une paire d'éléments d'extension solidement montés amovibles sur l'un des chemins de roulement, des éléments roulants porteurs de charge espacés pouvant entrer en prise de manière rotative entre les deux chemins de roulement, et des éléments d'espacement individuels disposés pour rouler sur les surfaces de la paire d'éléments d'extension. Chaque élément d'espacement individuel peut entrer en prise avec une paire adjacente des éléments roulants, et les séparer de manière coopérative.
