A method for producing an ion exchange resin. The method comprises steps of: (a) providing a basic ion exchange resin in the acidic form which comprises amino polyol groups and has a volume % swell from 15 to 30% upon conversion from the basic form to the acidic form, and (b) washing the resin with water or aqueous acid.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une résine échangeuse d'ions. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : (a) fournir une résine échangeuse d'ions basique sous forme acide qui comprend des groupes amino-polyols et a un gonflement de pourcentage en volume de 15 à 30 % lors de la conversion de la forme basique en la forme acide, et (b) laver la résine avec de l'eau ou de l'acide aqueux.
