Provided is a lubricating oil composition and method of using such a composition that provides for improved high temperature deposit resistance. The composition includes a lubricating oil base stock at from 20 to 95 wt% of the composition, at least one ashless organic friction modifier at from 0.1 to 20 wt% of the composition, and at least one overbased detergent at from 0.1 to 20 wt% of the composition. The remainder of composition includes one or more other lubricating oil additives. The deposit resistance of the lubricating oil composition as measured by TEOST 33C total deposits is at least 20% lower than the deposit resistance for a comparable lubricating oil composition not including the combination of the at least one ashless organic friction modifier and the at least one overbased detergent.

L'invention concerne une composition d'huile lubrifiante et un procédé d'utilisation d'une telle composition qui assure une résistance améliorée au dépôt à haute température. La composition comprend une huile de base d'huile lubrifiante à hauteur de 20 à 95 % en poids de la composition, au moins un modificateur de frottement organique sans cendres à hauteur de 0,1 à 20 % en poids de la composition, et au moins un détergent surbasique à hauteur de 0,1 à 20 % en poids de la composition. Le reste de la composition comprend un ou plusieurs autres additifs d'huile lubrifiante La résistance au dépôt de la composition d'huile lubrifiante telle que mesurée par dépôts totaux TEOST 33C est d'au moins 20 % inférieure à la résistance au dépôt pour une composition d'huile lubrifiante comparable ne comprenant pas la combinaison du au moins modificateur de frottement organique sans cendres et du au moins détergent surbasique.
