The invention is a method that determines whether the infecting pathogenic bacteria is thermo-resistant or thermo-sensitive and comprises the steps of inoculation from a bacteria isolate colony to liquid medium and preparation of suspension (or inoculation to a solid medium), incubating for a certain period of time and determining the lowest temperature level that inhibits the bacterial growth at the end of this period. The detected temperature level is the minimum inhibiting temperature (MIT) level and is used in hyperthermia treatment.

Procédé permettant de déterminer si les bactéries pathogènes infectieuses sont thermorésistantes ou thermosensibles et comprenant les étapes suivantes: l'inoculation à partir d'une colonie d'isolat de bactéries vers un milieu liquide et la préparation d'une suspension (ou inoculation vers un milieu solide), l'incubation pendant une certaine durée et à déterminer le niveau de température le plus bas inhibant la croissance bactérienne à la fin de cette période. Le niveau de température détecté est le niveau de température d'inhibition minimale (MIT) et est utilisé dans un traitement par hyperthermie.
