A method for inverse quantization of a current block of a picture is provided. The method is performed by a decoder, and the picture comprises a luminance component and a chrominance component, the luminance component and the chrominance component are partitioned into multiple blocks. The method includes that obtaining one or more existing quantization parameter, QP values from a received bitstream, wherein the one or more existing QP values relate to a current block in the chrominance component; determining a QP value for the current block in the chrominance component based on the one or more existing QP values; performing inverse quantization on the current block in the chrominance component by using the determined QP value.

L'invention concerne un procédé de quantification inverse d'un bloc courant d'une image. Le procédé est réalisé par un décodeur, et l'image comprend une composante de luminance et une composante de chrominance, la composante de luminance et la composante de chrominance sont divisées en de multiples blocs. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : obtenir, à partir d'un flux binaire reçu, une ou plusieurs valeurs de paramètres de quantification (QP) existantes, une ou plusieurs valeurs de QP existantes se rapportant à un bloc courant dans la composante de chrominance ; déterminer une valeur de QP pour le bloc courant dans la composante de chrominance, sur la base d'une ou de plusieurs valeurs de QP existantes ; et effectuer une quantification inverse sur le bloc courant dans la composante de chrominance à l'aide de la valeur de QP déterminée.
